Heather's passion for health began years after experiencing firsthand the negative effects of a high-calorie standard Western diet and minimal nutrition education. She began feeling increasing unwell and was overweight by age 10. After also witnessing loved ones struggle with preventable illnesses, she began to dig deeper into the link between diet and health, which developed into passion for learning and sharing evidence-based nutrition. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at SFSU in 2012, and went on to receive her Registered Dietetic Technician license and Certified Nutrition Coach Certificate.
Heather has worked and volunteered in diverse settings—from food pantries and holistic wellness centers to schools and long-term care facilities—where she provided nutrition education, directed food service programs, and supported individuals in improving their health through better food choices.
Today, she combines her background in clinical nutrition with a holistic, whole-person approach to wellness coaching. Heather is dedicated to helping clients achieve balance, energy, and confidence through realistic and sustainable nutrition habits. When she's not working, you'll find her with her kids outside- biking, hiking, or exploring (or trying to get them to😜) or working in the garden, and thinking of her next travel location.
